Tumaco Milk 53%
This chocolate was created so that the producers themselves could taste the cocoa from their region. While the 70% profile felt too dark for the community, this bar, with notes of caramel and milk, allowed the cocoa-growing families of the Pacific to finally enjoy the fruit of their labor.
Designed for the people of Tumaco, this profile has been recognized in the last two years as the best milk chocolate in the world.
Currently, our most awarded chocolate.
Sierra Nevada 64%
Mayumi Ogata, co-founder of CACAO HUNTERS, has dedicated her life to the search for exceptional cocoas. For years, she held the vision of achieving a chocolate with red fruit notes. Upon encountering cocoa from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, she knew that its genetics and precise fermentation would bring her quest to fruition.
In the Sierra Nevada, native varieties and beans that found an ideal place to grow in this soil coexist. The careful fermentation of these micro-batches reveals a unique aromatic profile, now recognized as one of the best in the world.
Arhuacos 72% — Heirloom
This chocolate comes from ancient seeds guarded for centuries by the Arhuaca community in the Sierra Nevada. Its name honors the indigenous people who preserved this genetic heritage, today recognized as Heirloom: a treasure of exceptional flavor and historical value that we must protect.
It was the first global recognition for CACAO HUNTERS. A highly complex profile with floral and fruity notes.
Every award is a living story that begins in the soil.
These awards reflect the work of more than 2,300 cocoa-growing families and the diverse ecosystems of each region. For over ten years, these medals have been the natural consequence of acting with purpose from the start.
